Telegram gift rarity explained: model, backdrop, symbol, per mille

Every collectible gift carries three attributes and each has a rarity written in per mille (‰) — parts per thousand. A model with 30‰ shows up in roughly 3% of upgrades; a 5‰ model in 0.5%.

The three attributes

Model — the artwork variant. Usually the attribute people look at first and the one that moves the price most.
Backdrop — background colour and pattern. Some backdrops are common across many collections, some are scarce.
Symbol — the small repeated icon on the backdrop.

Combined rarity

Rarity multiplies: a gift with a 10‰ model, 20‰ backdrop and 30‰ symbol is roughly one in 166,000 upgrades. On Fuji Gift Market the gift page shows all three percentages and a bar for each, and the "Rarest" sort orders gifts by the combined score.

What rarity does to price

The floor of a collection is set by common models.
A rare model in a popular collection can sell for several times the floor.
Number matters less than model, but very low numbers have their own fans.

Practical advice

Use the model filter on a collection page — e.g. Ice Cream — to see how many of each model are for sale and at what price. That is the quickest way to judge whether a listing is priced above or below the market.
